Christina
and Alberta Müller were
inspired by the memory of their childhood,
having grown up in a family where beautiful
art displayed
itself in intricate patterns woven across sofas
and chairs. The Müller sisters discovered
their own palette with which to display the
essence of this fine art of design, uniquely
beautiful handbags.
In
the upholstery workroom of their father, Alexander
Müller, the girls envisioned their dream -
the creation of "Art on a Bag". Armed
with their father's huge inventory of stunning
silk and satin, dazzling velvet, bold
linen

and
elegant French toile, to name a few - they
went to work. Designing
from cardboard cut outs of handbags they would
carry, the workroom, under the careful eye of
their father, soon was
brimming with eye-popping color and texture all
in the form of handbags.
With
their eye for art and the hunger to capture
a market, Alexander
Müller Handbags was created!
